"The Last Expedition Diary" is an escape room book in which the player follows the narrative thread and solves over 40 interactive puzzles .

Each chapter presents a narrative section that is accompanied by important elements in solving each puzzle.

Their solving methods range from writing, drawing, and folding, to cutting, searching, and joining pages.

INSPIRED BY REALITY

The story of the Hidden Mountain began in the Carpathian lands where Zalmoxis lived, in the Bucegi Mountains, furrowed by energy portals that spiritually unite us with the Geto-Dacian tribes.

Locals report seeing explosions of light that spanned the sky from the tops of the mountains to the horizon.

Another meteorological phenomenon causes the mountain's peak to completely disappear under certain climatic conditions, hence its name, the Hidden Mountain.

THE FIRST 100% ROMANIAN DETECTIVE GAMES

Launched in December 2020 , Mystery Case Box introduced the first detective games designed and manufactured entirely in Romania to the market. All Mystery Case Box cases are inspired by Romanian locations and legends.

FOUNDED BY TWO YOUNG MEDICAL DOCTORS

Mystery Case Box was founded by two young graduates of the Faculty of Medicine . Their passion for puzzles and mysteries led to the creation of five unique 100% Romanian adventures and the first 100% Romanian Escape Room book .
